Transfer Talks

Thinking about transferring to Jax State? We’re here to make the process simple, welcoming, and easy to understand.

Transfer Talks are casual Zoom meetups designed just for future transfer students. Join one session or attend them all—you’ll pick up valuable tips, meet our Transfer Admissions Counselor, and connect with other students who are on the same journey. Whether you’re transferring in a few months or still planning a few years out, these sessions are for you.

Upcoming sessions:

Feb 24th- Academic Advising
Join us as we hear from an Academic Advisor on getting advised for classes, along with other transfer processes topics such as how to apply, sending transcripts, transfer scholarship opportunities, and next steps for admitted students.

March 19th-Next Steps and Financial Aid
Join us to review the steps that a newly admitted transfer student need to take and learn about options for managing college costs from a Jax State Financial Aid team member.

April 21st- Transfer Experience and Transfer Student Support
Join a Transfer Student Mentor to hear what it is like to be a transfer student at Jax State and gain helpful insight and tips for success! Additionally, our Transfer and Adult Learner office will be joining to share how this resource can assist you and support your success you in your time at Jax State!

May 14th - End of Semester Notes
