International Friends Program

Our International Friends Program enables International House Program staff to better coordinate with alumni, faculty, civic organizations, church groups, and community volunteers who are willing to assist and establish relationships with international students. Student assistance could include such activities as serving as a host family, providing transportation, attending sporting and cultural events, organizing shopping weekends, hosting lunches/dinners/picnics, and other activities designed to enhance students’ cultural experiences. The Office of International House and Programs will be the point of contact and will provide interested volunteers with the required information.

International House Mentoring Program

We are extremely proud of the outstanding accomplishments and careers of our International House Program alumni. Our International House Mentoring Program allows alumni to positively impact the lives and experiences of recent graduates and current students. Each relationship should be based on a common goal to advance the education, career, and personal growth of the student. Mentors will choose the number of students they may want to mentor and consider areas of student interest. Mentoring could include discussing and establishing academic goals, long-term professional goals, internship opportunities, professional development, and other areas that will enhance the educational, social, and life skills of students. The International House and Programs will be the point of contact and will provide interested alumni with the required information.
